If the world needs the Father’s mercy, then our call is to embody it. The spiritual and corporal acts of mercy have long been given as a guide, yet feeding the hungry, burying the dead, sharing our knowledge and bearing wrongs patiently are overwhelming undertakings that often elude us. Spend some time this Lent with mercy in your own experience, and spot the little ways for injecting mercy that will change your heart and overflow into the lives of others.
Bit about Leah
Leah Perrault Leah Perrault is the Director of Mission at St. Paul's Hospital in Saskatoon. When she’s not busy with her day job, she speaks, consults and writes on the side. She is blessed (or cursed, depending on the day) with words that cannot be contained. These words find a home at retreats, schools, conferences, book clubs, board meetings, church groups, articles, books and ~ hopefully ~ in the hearts of those who hear and read them.
